Big party return policy –
Please check the costume or accessory as soon as you receive it for missing items or faults. If there is a defect/fault with the item it must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the item for us to accept.
Please note:
- Costumes are not everyday street wear and do not look, feel or fit like regular clothing. Where possible we post sizing charts from the manufacturer and rely on their information to be accurate. If the size you ordered is incorrect we will exchange for another size upon receipt of the costume and payment of $10 re-shipping fee, or we will refund the purchase price of the item less shipping.
- Costume designs, styles, colours and sizes can change without notice and may vary slightly from the photos. These changes are caused by manufacturers production changes and are beyond our control. These variations do not constitute a fault and therefore will not be refunded or exchanged.
- Wigs will not be exactly like the photo images and may have slight colour variation from the photos. Most will require brushing and/or styling to look like the photo and this is not a fault of the product.
- Returning because “it doesn’t fit”, “I’ve changed my mind”, “I found it cheaper elsewhere” or “My event was cancelled” are not valid return options. See ACC Guarantees.
- For hygiene reasons we will not exchange or refund teeth/fangs, eyelashes, wigs, moustaches, beards, makeup, hosiery, underwear, masks, contact lenses or other synthetic hair items unless they have a manufacturer fault.
Returns and Replacements:
If you have received a faulty or damaged item we will exchange or refund at our discretion as follows:
- Contact us at info@bigpartyoz.com within 24 hours of receipt with specific details of the fault or damage including photos and if appropriate , receive an RA# (Return Authorization Number)
- The item must be in pristine condition, not have been worn and include all original packaging, inserts and tags.
- You may need to return the item to us for our review. If applicable, we will organize a pre-paid return label via Australia Post. Prior to returning any product, you must receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from bigpartyoz to be noted on the return parcel.
- The item must be returned within 5 working days and upon inspection and approval we will issue a refund or exchange as appropriate. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only and do not include shipping.

- Please note that if the costume/accessory does not meet the “faulty or damaged” requirements and/or you do not have a valid “Return Authorization Number” we will not be able to issue a refund/return. Additional shipping costs will be incurred at your expense to send the item back to you.
